Acknowledging this, is one of the key elements of my care. This as well as deeply getting to know each other builds trust which is a non-negotiable for me to be welcome to work alongside you, as a partner through this sacred time.

Initially we will chat via an obligation free 20 minute phone convo which you can book below so that we may discover if we are a good fit. Then I can offer support via the following packages :)

families birthing both in hospital or at home. My aim is to support women and families wherever they need me and wherever they feel safe to birth!

  • The journey that we go on once meeting and deciding to work together is different for every family, however the support will comprise of the following elements, designed to best suit your families rhythm and routines:

    PRE-NATAL: 3 pre-natal at home visits including:

    • Maternity care education/ explanation of all of the options available to you in your area.

    • Loan of any of my birth and parenting books including books by Ina May Gaskin, Jane Hardwicke Collins, Juju Sundin, Rachel Reid and many more.

    • Birth education regarding the physiology of childbirth and what can alter birth within a hospital setting as well as how we can help to mitigate that.

    • Access to Hypnobabies self-paced course

    • Assistance in preparation and creation of birth strategy as well as explanation around possible outcomes based on labour and birth choices.

    • Full debrief of medical/ therapy appointments afterwards.

    • Unlimited texting availability

    • Education around birth positions, natural pain relief techniques and support for your partner, so they may feel helpful and understand what their role is in the birth environment.

    • Discussion and suggestions around breathing techniques and coping strategies that are specific and tailored to you and your personality/ story

    • Crucial Post-natal preparation and planning.

    • Free access to my weekly pregnancy circles held in Shellharbour. An opportunity to meet and connect with other mums and mums-to-be and share in this journey with other women.

    • Delicious pre-natal meals provided each visit as well as access to the incredibly informative e-book “Real Food for Pregnancy” by Lily Nichols RDN. This book is the most informative and evidence based book on pre-natal nutrition to date and is a wealth of information.

    BIRTH: Attendance for full duration of birth at home and/ or in hospital including:

    • Full use of labor pain management tools including tens machine, birth ball, pressure point balls, massage oils, essential oils, birth affirmation cards, heat packs, playlists and much more.

    • Physical, emotional and spiritual support during birth for both you and birth partner including being your advocate to medical staff based on your birth strategy. One thing that many mums have discussed with me post birth is how crucial it was to have an experienced birth support person there who knew them well but was not immediate family or friends. This gave their partner the ability to support them while also feeling supported and safe themselves which is crucial.

    • Different positions and coping suggestions made based around your birth preferences and how you and baby are coping through your labour.

    • Snacks for you and birth partner during labor.

    • “First photo’s” capturing a few first family moments so you don’t need to fumble for the camera or worry about anything bar meeting your new human.

    • Post birth meal of whatever your choosing.

    • I stay for up to 2 hours post birth and aid you in protecting the crucial golden hour and assisting with the first feed/ helping you have a shower etc.

    • On call day and night from 36 weeks

    POST-NATAL: 2 x visits, one in the 1st week, one at 6 weeks consisting of:

    • Yummy freezer meals and snacks

    • Debrief your birth, help you create your birth story

    • Full list of local and non-local resources for the post-natal period.

    • Information around the most up-to-date evidence surrounding normal baby sleep patterns.

    • Baby wearing lessons and baby cuddling if you like and want to have a shower/ rest etc

    • Soft and warming gentle massage while babywearing in your home

    • Free access for the first 4 weeks to my mothers circle held in Shellharbour.

    • Full texting availability for 6 weeks post birth

    Payment plans available, also open to discussions around price vs sessions needed etc to tailor package to you depending on if you are wanting less and depending on varying factors such as if this is your first child etc
