“I wish I had known Lisa existed when I had my first child! I decided to find a doula on a friends advice and after having a chat with Lisa, I knew she was the one for me. I asked her to support me pre, during and post-natally and it was the best investment of my pregnancy. I call her my baby whisperer. During my second pregnancy I felt way more informed, knowledgeable, empowered and calm knowing the changes my body would go through, and the things it was capable of. The birth itself was amazing, I never thought I would say that after my first experience. I would recommend Lisa to anyone expecting a child, or looking to build their supportive community after birth.”

“Lisa is amazing! When I found out I was pregnant again I was nervous about navigating the hospital system again due to the trauma I experienced at the hands of doctors and nurses. She is very knowledgeable, personable and reassuring. I’d be friends with her even if she wasn’t my doula.”

“After finding out I was pregnant I felt SO overwhelmed and uneducated about the whole process and both my partner and I LOVE the support we’ve received and still continue to receive with Lisa! She brings so much amazing information and support to the table and I’m beyond relieved she’ll be there to support and help me through the birth of my first baby!”

Welcome to Birth Mama.

I’m so glad you’re here!

My souls purpose is to ensure that you feel confident and informed on your journey to parenthood and beyond so that you can make the best decisions for yourself and your baby!

I believe we have lost sight of the importance of this crucial and sacred rite of passage in our society. I aim to regenerate this spark by giving you the tools to trust your intuition and realise the simple truth that I already know: that you CAN birth, Mama!

Who am I and what am I all about?

I am a Doula, Birth Educator and Student Midwife. So what does that actually mean?

A doula is a trained companion who supports you through a significant health-related experience - in this case, childbirth. I work alongside mums and families to help them navigate this sacred rite of passage and to ensure they are informed and supported throughout the entire process.

In real life terms? A Doula is your coach, educator, advocate, extra pair of hands and all round hype-woman! I am armed with information, experience and care with a huge amount of resources at my fingertips to ensure you feel confident and dare I say it, excited to go on this life changing journey!

I will direct you to and encourage you to learn about anything that holds your interest or is specific to you on your journey to meet your baby.

The care is not isolated to this period either. I run pregnancy and post-partum circles from my home, so you may feel connected to other women and families in your community which is a crucial element to feeling confident and happy in raising our children.

As well as this, I am a student midwife and mother of three, so I have personal knowledge and experience to offer a service that is above and beyond the ordinary.

Historically, women birthed with the knowledge and wisdom of generations of birth keepers, mothers, aunts, cousins and friends. These days, that “village” atmosphere has almost disappeared entirely, leaving women clutching at straws during their pre-natal period to try and find the support they biologically crave.

That is where I come in.

I use all of the above to fill in the gaps and be your village. It is my motivation and what gets me out of bed in the morning! You will find no-one more passionate or dedicated.
